First introduced in 1970, the used Beechcraft 60 Duke for sale fits somewhere between the Baron and the Queen Air from the Beechcraft series. The Duke is a twin engine fixed wing aircraft, with retractable landing gear and a pressurized cabin. The double engines are turbocharged 380 h.p. Lycoming TIO-541-E1C4 six cylinders, horizontally opposed direct drive engines.
Though a relatively advanced plane as far as technology goes when it was built for aircraft sales, it seemed to be too advanced for its time because maintenance was costly. Not many of these aircraft for sale made it to market. With six seats, one next to the pilot and four in the back, this plane was great for business and mostly used for that purpose.
Production of these planes lasted for around 12 years with 584 being built and you can always check out all the used Beechcraft Duke for sale at any of the Flying Online websites.
