Beechcraft owned by Raytheon Aircraft manufactures the King Air 300/350, as part of a line of twin turboprop aircraft. The King Air 300/350 has been produced since 1964 with rising aircraft sales, giving it the longest production run of any turboprop aircraft in the civilian category.
As of 2006, Beechcraft King Air 300/350 outran all of its previous competitors and now manufactures only one other twin turboprop business aircraft for sale. The Beechcraft King Air 300/350 competes only with Piaggio Avanti. But King Air has 90% of the market share in this class.
There are currently three models of Beechcraft King Airs in production. This includes the smaller King Air 90 (C90GT), the midsized King Air 200, and the large King Air
300/350. The King Air historically comprises models that fall into four families: the King Air Model 90, Model 100, King air Model 200, and the Model 300 series. Beechcraft also has two other series of aircraft: the Model 99 and the 1900 (used also for regional airline carriers). Both originated from the King Air.
The new and used King Air 350 for sale were designed for passenger comfort. All Beechcraft King Airs, including the King Air 300 / 350, have become a stable for corporate flight departments.
