In 2001, the "Beech Premier I" was certified as a six to seven passenger, lightweight jet aircraft. In 2005, an updated version called the "Premier IA" was certified. Both the Premier I and the Premier IA can be certified to operate under a single pilot. It's a relatively new aircraft for sale. Single pilot operation of the Beech Premier is assisted by the use of Collins Pro Line 21 avionics that are designed with total system integration and instrument placement. The Premier is powered by Williams International FJ44-2A engines to provide low fuel consumption with high-altitude thrust performance. The Premier IA has a max speed of 451 knots with a range of 1360 nm. The structure of the Premier IA is composed of a high-strength composite, carbon fiber/epoxy honeycomb fuselage that is designed using CATIA (Computer-Aided Three-Dimensional Interactive Application). Using a technologically advanced fiber placement machine, an entire Premier IA can be produced in only one week. Using light weight carbon fiber reduces operating cost and makes damage repair less costly. The use of this new technology in aircraft sales makes Premier IA's manufacturer, Raytheon Aircraft, an industry leader in composite technology. New and used Beechcraft Premier 1 for sale and used Beechcraft Premier 1A for sale are considered a prime buy by some seeking jets for sale.
