First produced in Canada in 1994, the Diamond DA20 is a two-seat general aviation aircraft used for flight training. This aircraft for sale uses all of the latest features and has been regarded as one of the safest aircraft in the industry. There are two basic models of the DA20, the A1 Katana and the C1 Eclipse/Evolution. The A1 Katana is powered by a Rotax 912 engine, which produces 80-100 h.p. The C1 Eclipse/Evolution is powered by a Continental IO-240 engine, which produces 125 h.p. The A1 Katana has a constant-speed propeller, while the C1 Eclipse/Evolution has a fixed-pitch propeller. The Diamond DA20 is approximately 23 feet long and has enough space for one passenger. The average cruise speed is 138 knots and the range is 472 miles if comparing it to competition in aircraft sales. Used DA20 for sale remain in demand as training craft.
