Partenavia is an Italian line of six-seat, twin-engine aircraft for sale built first by Partenavia Aircraft and later by Vulcanair. In 1970 the first Partenavia P.68 was built with 200 h.p. coming from two Lycoming O-260 piston engines. Only 13 pre-production Partenavia P.68 were ever built. In 1974 the Partenavia was lengthened to provide more cabin space and called the P.68B for aircraft sales. The Partenavia was lengthened again in 1979 to provide weather radar and named the P. 68C. The P.68C has a maximum speed of just less than 200mph and a range of 1,305 miles. Partenavia introduced a nine-seat turbo prop called the Spartacus in 1978 as well as a retraceable gear version called the Viator. In 1980 Vulcanair bought the license to Partenavia and built a turbo charged model, named the P.68TC for aircraft sales. It is still in production today.
